PANEL COMING SOON

Visit a native nectar garden in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo! This site, located on the historic and still active SLO mission, nourishes migrating monarchs passing through in its beautiful garden quartyard. Founded in 1772 the San Luis Obispo Mission was the 5th California mission to be constructed and today remains an active church. Explore the history of California’s Mission system and enjoy a day downtown with tasty places to eat and a variety of shopping options. Take a stroll or nap under the Sycamore trees bordering the San Luis Obispo Creek within eyesight from the mission steps.
